Stowmarket Carnival Line-Up 2026

We have a packed programme for everyone at Stowmarket Carnival 2026!
The Friday evening opens at 6pm on the Kings Meadow Recreation Ground when the Suffolk Trail Runners host a free trail run/walk. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
Also on the Recreation Ground, from 7pm till late on Friday, we have the wonderful Bandeoke sessions run by Charlie Law – back by popular demand, and sponsored by Stowmarket Town Council. Join us for a great evening of song and laughter!
For many the Carnival starts with the Procession, which leaves the Meadlands roundabout at 12:30 on Saturday and makes its way through Combs Ford, up past the Regal Cinema, to King’s Meadow. This year the theme is Musicals, and we cannot wait to see the colourful floats and displays! Come out and watch the Procession, then follow it onto the Recreation Ground for a great family day out.
Over the weekend we have comedian & juggler Dan the Hat, The Piano Bike Girl Chloe Marie Aston, and Punch & Judy sessions. The Boys Brigade are running a craft tent, Academy of Movement are running Circus Skills, and if it all gets too much for youngsters on the Saturday, Families Together Suffolk are running a Chill-Out tent providing a calm space.
We will of course have a range of food and drink vendors on the King’s Meadow, plus craft and charity stalls, and the music and acts on the stage and arena.
On the Sunday we are back with more food & drink, more stalls, and more music and arena acts, together with the fantastic Classic Car and Bike Show which starts at 10am.
And don’t forget ADMISSION TO ALL THIS IS FREE!
