Stowmarket Town FC
It’s been a busy and encouraging period at Stowmarket Town Football Club, with plenty happening both on and off the pitch. Behind the scenes, the club has made substantial progress in strengthening its financial position — a key step in ensuring long-term stability and growth. Thanks to improved commercial activity, strong community support, and careful management, the future is looking brighter than ever at Greens Meadow.
That renewed positivity can be felt throughout the club. From volunteers and staff to players, coaches and supporters, there is a genuine sense of momentum building. The energy around the ground is infectious, and January offers the perfect chance for fans to come together and cheer on the Old Gold as we enter an exciting run of home fixtures.
We begin the New Year at Greens Meadow on 3rd January, welcoming Great Yarmouth Town, who arrive pushing hard for a playoff spot. Two weeks later, on 17th January, we take on Mulbarton Wanderers, the current league leaders and one of the strongest sides in the division — a real test and a match not to be missed. We round off the month on 31st January with a local derby under the lights against Walsham le Willows, another team fighting for a place in the top six.
With important games ahead and confidence growing across the club, Stowmarket Town FC enters 2025 with belief, ambition and a united community behind it. We look forward to seeing The Flyer readers at Greens Meadow — your support makes all the difference.
Uppa Stow!
