The pace is hotting up as the Committee of local volunteers prepares for the biggest, brightest, and most musical Stowmarket Carnival ever!

Applications for Procession entries opened in January with this year’s theme of MUSICALS. From Broadway classics to modern hits, we can’t wait to see Stowmarket’s show-stopping ideas come to life.

Meanwhile the applications for stalls on the Recreation Ground are flooding in from food vendors, craft stalls, cake makers, charities and community groups, all looking forward to being part of one of Stowmarket longest running events. Carnival Dates: 17th–19th July 2026

What’s happening?

On the Friday night we have music. On the Saturday we have the Carnival procession, plus a full day of entertainment on the Rec – bands, acts and family fun. On the Sunday the fun continues with more live acts, a fantastic car show and family friendly activities. And the Carnival is FREE to attend!
