Newmarket Cricket Club is proud to announce an exciting new project, the installation of a state-of-the-art artificial practice net at our ground. This brand new facility will provide a safe, all-weather environment for coaching and player development, benefitting our men’s, ladies and junior teams.

This project represents a major step forward in our ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent and strengthening grassroots sport within the community. By improving our training facilities, we’re helping to ensure that young players in Newmarket and the wider community have the best possible opportunities to learn, grow, and enjoy the game for years to come.

To help bring this vision to life, we’ve launched a community Crowdfunder campaign to raise funds for the installation and maintenance costs. Every donation — big or small — will make a real difference and directly support the future of cricket in Newmarket.

Our goal is to reach our target within 12 weeks with the net ready for use in April 2026 just in time for the new season.
