Cedarwood Primary School
As the academic year draws to a close, pupils, staff and governors are celebrating another great year of “Excellence and Enjoyment for All” at Cedarwood Primary School. Across all year groups, pupils have continued to shine brightly, embracing opportunities and challenging themselves to be the best they can be.
Our fantastic staff have once again ensured that the curriculum has been brought to life through hands-on learning, creativity, and curiosity. From emersion days, exciting trips, and inspirational visitors, our pupils have explored castles and temples, taken part in Forest School adventures, and immersed themselves in the wonders of Science Week. Residential stays and school sleepovers built independence, confidence, and unforgettable memories. Meanwhile, our wonderful PFC fundraising team kept school spirit high with a host of events that brought families together in support of the school.
Our commitment to the arts has continued to flourish, with visiting artists inspiring young imaginations, and the whole school community coming together to create a beautiful hare for the Hospice Big Hop.
Music has echoed through the school, with our talented choir performing in various events, including a proud moment on the prestigious Snape Maltings stage.
There have been many proud sporting moments this year, with Cedarwood becoming Boys U11 County Champions and proudly representing ITFC in the Premier League Primary Stars Tournament at the legendary Molineux Stadium
– home of the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The talents of our fabulous children have been showcased in their high quality stage in performances, nativities and shows that have impressed families and friends. The year culminated in a spectacular Year 5 and 6 production of The Jungle Book—a show bursting with energy, talent, and flair, worthy of a West End audience.
As we look forward to the next exciting school year, we send our very best wishes to our Year 6 pupils. You have grown into caring, confident, capable individuals, and we know you will continue to shine as you begin the next chapter of your education journey in high school. Wherever you go, carry with you the ARK Values, friendships, and memories you’ve made at Cedarwood.
The staff and governors of Cedarwood would like to take this opportunity to wish the Kesgrave community a very happy summer.
