Congratulations Kesgrave!

On Tuesday 24^th September, Kesgrave Town Clerk, Joanna Abbott and the Chairman of Kesgrave Town Council, Councillor Neal Beecroft-Smith attended the Presentation Ceremony for the Suffolk Community Awards. Great News – Kesgrave won The Most Active Town!  The Clerk commented  ‘It’s wonderful for Kesgrave to win this award again.  The town has a population of 15,000 and whilst if may not have a high street or waterfront, what does bring this community together is sport and recreation, which the Town has in abundance!  Parkrun, Running club, Football Clubs, Cycle Speedway, Keep Fit, Dance, Pétanque, Karate, Music Groups and so, much more. There really is something for everyone, from tots to seniors, morning till evening, 7 days a week! And what makes it all the more great is so many of these groups and clubs are run by volunteers.’

Don’t forget the Christmas Light switch on – Friday 29 November, Kesgrave Singers at 6pm followed by Light Switch On.  Also Ice Skating, Scout Christmas Fayre, Santa’s Grotto – Rupert Fison Square, Kesgrave. Ice Skating, Scout Fayre and Santa’s Grotto is also on Saturday 30 from 10am – 3pm

11^th November – Planning at 6.15pm and Finance and Governance at 7.15pm

25^th November – Planning at 6.15pm and Full Council at 7.15pm
