Woodbridge School

Providing an exceptional education in a superb learning environment, Woodbridge School, including our Pre-Prep, Prep, Senior School, Sixth Form and Boarding, is a co-educational School for students aged 4 to 18. Rated ‘Excellent’ in all areas by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) 2023, recognised as Secondary School of the Year at the Suffolk Education Awards.
Woodbridge School is a place where confident, kind, proactive free thinkers gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to become everything they are meant to be. A thriving community, where everyone is guided by the School’s values of character, kindness, community and excellence, both our Prep and Senior School are set in spectacular grounds, providing everyone with the opportunity to benefit from everything that has to offer.

Woodbridge School Prep

Children at our Prep School are encouraged to seek out adventure, rise to challenges and accept the value of mistakes, enjoying their own and others’ achievements. Children learn in a vibrant, supportive, nurturing and inspirational environment where they can develop and grow. Alongside a comprehensive curriculum which also includes Engineering, Forest School, Food, Health and Nutrition as well as Sport, children have the opportunity to develop life skills, instilling a love of learning and a sense of fun, with access to a wealth of co-curricular activities, societies and sport.

Our Senior School

At our Senior School, for Years 7 through to 13, students can expect an exceptional relationship with teachers. Working together to take every opportunity to develop as an individual, find their own pathway and discover and nurture their own talent, an education at Woodbridge School supports and encourages them to become the best version of themselves today, and in the future. From learning hockey with a double Olympian, working with precious metals and fabrics in Leatherworking and Silversmithing, to learning and exploring new techniques in Maths challenges, experimenting for fun in Science Club and debating with our MUN club, students will find the right balance of creative challenges and academic success.

Sixth Form, Years 12 and 13

Our Sixth Form provides the right balance of independence and support, combining high academic success with dynamic co-curricular opportunities and activities.
Throughout their A level journey, our teachers also spend time guiding and preparing students for life beyond Woodbridge, our Sixth Form is the perfect place for young people to hone, distil and celebrate their individuality.

A flexible, comprehensive system of bus routes

With a number of minibus services operating daily throughout the local region, Woodbridge School offers a comprehensive system of bus routes reaching across Suffolk as well as Essex. An education at Woodbridge School has never been closer.

Full and weekly boarding

For those living further afield, the School offers full and weekly boarding options. Boarders form a vital part of the community at Woodbridge School, with everyone supporting and learning from one another.
