Everything for the perfect family christmas at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds
A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS CABIN for 2 to 7 YEAR OLDS
Theatre Royal’s much-loved Christmas Cabin is back for its fourth year with a festive, interactive mini-performance for children aged 2-7 and their families.
Based in Charter Square in Bury St Edmunds and set in a beautifully designed festive log cabin, this short magical performance is the perfect way to introduce smaller children to live performances. This year’s story is called The Little Train.
Children step inside Santa’s workshop where all sorts of marvels can be imagined! Fudge the elf discovers a beautiful toy train, but it’s all broken! Santa and Fudge can’t make enough magic on their own so they need the help of the children (and their grown-ups) to help to fix the toys.
This beautiful, magical adventure celebrates the wonder of play.
Theatre Royal Christmas Cabin presents The Little Train Friday 28 November to Wednesday 24 December.
All shows are be suitable for those with sensory needs but dedicated relaxed performances have a reduced capacity. Relaxed performances are at 10am on 29th Nov, 6th Dec, 13th Dec and 20th Dec.
HILARIOUS FAMILY PANTOMIME FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Theatre Royal’s annual pantomime is now legendary and grows in popularity each year.
This year, the whole family can be whisked away into a world of magic and laughter with the adventures of
Rapunzel.
Every day is the same for Rapunzel. She gazes from her tower and dreams of the world beyond… but today is different…today she’ll escape.
Pursued by a Gothel, the wicked witch, Lassie, a talking dog and Sammy a love-sick shepherd, Rapunzel’s journey takes her in search of the one thing that can save her: a Golden Tulip.
Join Rapunzel, her step-father Mr Mayor, their cook – the cutest cook this side of Cambridge- Rusty McBusty and Jinx, Gothel’s mean and menacing cat for this family-friendly show packed with joy, laughter and toe-tapping tunes, making this the perfect festive outing for all ages.
