Dragon Fest returns for its tremendous 10th Year!

Dragon Fest returns to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village later in June, for a special 10-year celebration, and it promises to be a flaming good day out for all the family!
This year, the annual Dragon Festival will see the Anglo-Saxon Village invaded by some new and some more-familiar dragons! The celebration of all things dragon will include an array of performances and activities.
A highlight for this anniversary year will be the unveiling of an incredible new four-metre-long dragon by the Anglo-Saxon villagers and visitors will be the first to discover its name!
Come rain or shine, the Dragon Fest team have you covered with indoor attractions and special performance zones. There will be a variety of food available to purchase, or you can bring a picnic.
Amongst the many attractions on site, you can immerse yourself in the legendary tale of “Beowulf” bought to life by Quill & Inkling. You can also try your hand at circus skills, archery and axe throwing. There’s fun for the kids with bungee trampolines and a helter-skelter, this year’s new addition.
It’s going to be a busy day, so pre booking is advised via www.weststow.org.
You can book a time slot to ease entry to the event. All entertainment is available throughout the day, and repeated in the afternoon, so you won’t miss out!
