Thanks
Our thanks go to Rose builders who are currently completing the landscaping and planting on the site off Black Tiles Lane where 47 new dwellings have just been built. Rose have kindly provided two additional bat boxes and two bird boxes for the Jubilee Play Space area. These boxes will help to encourage and support wildlife and be enjoyed by all who visit.
Jubilee Bike Trails
Unfortunately, despite the bike trails being closed, there has been further damage to this facility. Please note that the bike trails are currently not safe, so please don’t be tempted to move the barriers or to venture into the area.
Repairs will take time and reinstatement of this facility will cost the Council a considerable amount of money.
Council Surgeries
Many residents will be aware that the Council has been trialling monthly surgeries at the Runway Café by kind permission of the Management Committee. The final planned surgery will take place on Friday 18th April from 10-12.

Community Speed Watch
Have you ever worried about speeding cars putting your children, pets or yourself at risk?
Martlesham Council is looking for some new volunteers to join their highly successful and enthusiastic Speed Watch team. A short ‘in house’ training session will be provided as will high vis clothing. The commitment required is not great, approximately one hour per week, but you could make a huge difference to our work. Please get in touch with the Council if you would like to find out more.
