An invitation to the Mayor of Ipswich’s Annual Charity Ball
The Mayor of Ipswich is proud to announce the much-anticipated annual Charity Ball, an event that brings the local community together to raise vital funds for two outstanding Ipswich-based charities. This prestigious event is set to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment, and generosity, all in support of causes that make a meaningful difference to the lives of many in Suffolk.
This year’s Mayor’s Charity Ball will support:
• Genesis Orwell Mencap: Providing essential support for adults with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives through various day activities at the Genesis Centre.
• Cancer Support Suffolk: Offering comprehensive care and guidance to individuals and their families, focusing on life before, during, and after cancer.
Both charities are dedicated to improving the lives of people across Ipswich and Suffolk, making the Ball a key event in the town’s calendar for community-driven impact.
Event Details
• Date: Friday, 21 March 2025
• Location: Grand Hall, Ipswich Corn Exchange
• Reception: 7:00 pm, Town Hall Council Chamber (welcome drinks included)
• Dinner: A luxurious Sri Lankan themed meal in the Grand Hall
• Entertainment: Special guest compères will host a thrilling auction featuring exclusive items, followed by live entertainment, and dancing to round off the evening.
Take advantage of Early Access pricing – tickets purchased before 31 December are available at £650 for a table of ten or £68.50 per person. After this date, tickets for this elegant event will be priced at £75 per person or £700 for a table of ten. Tickets can be purchased through Ipswich Theatres, and booking early is recommended to secure your place and avoid disappointment.
