The Hertford and Ware Flyer November 2023
Inside the Hertford and Ware November edition. There’s a great choice of things to do in this issue, alongside your community news.
The Hertford and Ware November Flyer Welcome
As I write it’s hard to believe this is now our November issue, but rest assured we have some great events, ideas and local community information to take us from autumn into early winter. Recently I’ve been enjoying taking photos of the trees when out walking, especially when the sun casts a beautiful golden glow on them. Let’s hope the weather stays as good as possible!
Hertford and Ware Events November
Events coming up include the annual Hertford Christmas Gala (24th November) and the Hertford Castle Christmas Market (24th to 26th November) and the Ware Dickensian Evening (1st December) plus Christmas Tree Festival in Leaside Church (1st and 2nd December) – plenty to see (look out for Santa!), do, eat and watch for all ages. There are also festive Tudor Square Produce and Craft Markets (19th November and 3rd December) to further tempt you.
In addition, Ware and Hertford Mayoral charity events include a community quiz (Ware Priory) and separate Food Tasting and Wreath Making activities (both at Hertford Castle); do look inside for more details.
Both the town museums and libraries have regular and special events and will be pleased to welcome you. This includes a special event for children at Hertford Museum (9th December) and a new exhibition ‘Musical Ware’ at Ware Museum (as part of this there will be live musical performances in the Museum!)
With Christmas just around the corner ‘A Christmas Carol’ – by This is My Theatre – is being performed in several nearby venues, which includes Stanstead Abbotts (29th November, 7pm). There’s also a lot happening in Ware Drill Hall; a Stanstead Abbotts Concert Society event (19th November) and the Ware Choral Society Christmas Concert (2nd December). This seems the time to book dates in; there’s more information in your Flyer.
