There is nothing to beat the experience of singing with a big choir and the Bury Bach Choir has 80-100 active singing members who don’t just sing Bach! Their 2024-5 season will also include works by Gustav and Imogen Holst, Gabriel Fauré, Mozart and Antonio Salieri.

The choir has three main concerts each year which are usually held either at The Apex or at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, together with a smaller Christmas concert at the Church of St Peter & St Paul in Lavenham.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings for 2 hours from 7.30 – 9.30pm at King Edward VI School in Spring Lane. Experience is not necessary and the choir is happy to support new and returning singers. There are currently some vacancies in all voices.
