With the summer holidays just wrapping up, it’s time to start thinking about getting the kids back into the school routine! Here at The Flyer, we know how important it is for Suffolk families to stay organized, so we’ve put together a handy guide to the 2024/2025 school term dates for all Suffolk County Council maintained schools.

Autumn Term:
Starts: Monday, September 2, 2024 (That’s right, the kids are already back in school!)
Half Term: Monday, October 28, 2024 to Friday, November 1, 2024 (A perfect little break to recharge those backpacks!)
Ends: Friday, December 20, 2024 (Time to gear up for the festive season!)
Christmas Holidays: Saturday, December 21, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025 (Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!)
Spring Term:
Starts: Monday, January 6, 2025 (Back to the books after the holidays!)
Half Term: Monday, February 17, 2025 to Friday, February 21, 2025 (Another chance to unwind in the middle of the term)
Ends: Friday, April 4, 2025 (Spring is in the air!)
Easter Holidays: Saturday, April 5, 2025 to Monday, April 21, 2025 (Time for some Easter egg hunts and chocolate bunnies!)
Summer Term:
Starts: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 (A slightly later start after the Easter break)
Half Term: Monday, May 26, 2025 to Friday, May 30, 2025 (The sun is shining, perfect for some outdoor adventures!)
Ends: Tuesday, July 22, 2025 (School’s out for summer!)

These term dates apply to all Suffolk County Council maintained schools. Community and voluntary controlled schools may have slightly different term dates.
