All About Hearing Audiologist Karen Finch receiving her award from current BSHAA President Michael Marchant

Karen Finch, Audiologist and Co-Director at family-run hearing firm, All About Hearing, has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to the audiology profession at a recent industry event in London.

The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA), which is the esteemed professional body for independent hearing care in the UK, was celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Karen was honoured for her service as President of BSHAA from 2004 to 2006, during which she played a pivotal role in promoting professional standards, advancing education, and raising public awareness of hearing health across the UK.

Karen’s recognition highlighted her lasting impact on the profession and her continued dedication to patient-centred care.

“It’s an incredible honour to be recognised by BSHAA, especially as the organisation celebrates such an important milestone,” said Karen Finch.

“Serving as President gave me the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated professionals who share the same goal, to ensure people across the UK receive the very best in hearing care. I’m proud to see how far our profession has come and excited for what the future holds.”

Based in Suffolk, All About Hearing provides trusted, independent hearing care across the region, with two clinics in Ipswich, and additional locations in Woolpit, Woodbridge, and Framlingham. The team offers a full range of audiology services, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and professional earwax removal, all delivered by qualified audiologists in a comfortable, clinical setting.

Karen, who is still a BSHAA member, continues to lead clinical practice and innovation at All About Hearing, ensuring patients across Suffolk receive expert care and the latest hearing technology from a friendly, professional team.
