Hertford Music Centre is part of Hertfordshire Music Service and we are based in the Music Department at Simon Balle School. Our experienced teachers provide music lessons and ensembles for students in and around Hertford.

We offer lessons on piano, violin, guitar and flute, and in Spring 2023 are running five FREE taster group lessons for these instruments plus clarinet and saxophone.

Our groups hold at least three concerts per year, and include the following ensembles:

– the East Herts Youth Orchestra for students of grade 5 and above
– the East Herts Wind Band for wind, brass and percussion students from grade 1 to grade 5
– JAM, an open access music making class for primary aged children.
