
Ware Annual Food Festival – with a Royal Twist
Ware’s Annual Food Festival returns for its ninth year on Sunday 7th May. Instead of Tudor Square – this year the festival will be held in the Priory Gardens to give more space for extra stalls and entertainment. All the usual favourites with be there with an added Royal twist to celebrate the occasion of King Charles III’s Coronation weekend.
Come hungry and enjoy what’s on offer or grab yourself something to take home or enjoy whilst wandering the grounds. Picnics are also welcome, so that everyone can enjoy ‘The Coronation Big Lunch’ together.
Traders include Dough with the Flow pizza, Sweetlove Burgers, The Smoking Greek as well as desert from Ciaras Ice Cream. With treats from Azahar, Tiny Treats, Giggly Pig and Moggs Pickles, and drink options from Stort Valley Spirits, Copper in the Clouds and The Rocking Horse Bar, visitors will be spoilt for choice.
During the afternoon you will be entertained by great music from the Lip Service Brass Band. Los Skankos, a family of musical Mediterranean waiters who bring musical mirth mixed with mayhem, will be wandering the Priory grounds. Plus there will be Coronation Crafts for the kids with local artist, Donna Reeves. Running from 12pm until 4pm, there’s fun for all the family.
