Showtime – The Harmonaires Summer Concert
The Harmonaires Choir will be singing at St John’s Church in Stansted at 3pm on Saturday 8th July.
Come and enjoy a summer’s afternoon concert, with cake and Pimm’s available to purchase in the interval, for a showcase filled with musical theatre, film and TV classics. From Game of Thrones to Hamilton, via Showboat, The Vicar of Dibley and Les Miserables. A truly beautiful programme designed to lift your spirits. There will be a retiring collection for Isobel Hospice. Tickets at £10 for adults, £8 concessions, with no charge for children, are available on the door or via the website.
The choir was formed just over 8 years ago by Musical Director Josie Cowley and is going from strength to strength, singing in cathedrals as well as performing fund-raising concerts locally. A quote from one of the judges at the recent MACC choir competition described The Harmonaires’ performance a “superb presentation from this tight ensemble. All in all an example of accessible, varied programming of pieces, performed to an extremely high standard.” For more information about the choir visit their website at www.theharmonaireschoir.com
