Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’

This will be the 4th year of ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ and the team behind the event thinks it is already becoming the Christmas go to on Christmas Eve Eve.

The original idea was mooted amongst a couple of friends a few years ago (pre-covid) and it has now blossomed into a community charity event, with the emphasis on the word COMMUNITY.
This event is supported by local businesses, councillors, volunteers and of course the musicians, who are made up from local talent ranging from 17 years to a slightly more vintage age.

The idea of the community gathering round prior to the holidays to all shout ‘Its Christmas!’ when they hear the classic Slade song and to Rock with ‘around the Christmas tree’ is what they always wanted the event to be about.
