Ipswich Sea Cadets host parade to celebrate the 220th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

Taking place in Ipswich, on Sunday 26 October 2025, the parade will consist of an expected 200 Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets from the following Units – Ipswich, Felixstowe, Beccles & Lowestoft, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall & Newmarket, Cambridge.

1230:  Parade forms up outside the James Hehir building on the Ipswich Waterfront

1300:  VIPs Arrive to inspect the Parade

1320:  Parade Steps-Off to march along the quayside and through the town centre (led by the Bury St Edmunds Sea Cadet Band)

1350:  Parade arrives at Ipswich Minster Church, Tower Street, for a Service

1450:  Parade reforms and marches to the Old Customs House.

The Sea Cadets is a youth charity for children and young adults aged 10 to 18. Our aim is to provide a range of activities, sports and skills that are attractive and adventurous within a caring discipline, based on the high standards of the Royal Navy and to assist in development of self-confidence, self-discipline, leadership and sense of responsibility to the community.
