Helping Herts Week 2024

Join Helping Herts Week, 1st – 5th July 2024

This summer, Helping Herts, official charity of Stort Valley Rotary, invite you to take part in Helping Herts Week from 1st-5th July 2024. The aim of the week is to celebrate everything that is good about Hertfordshire including all the amazing people, charities and businesses who make a difference in our communities. All of the money raised will go directly to 12 remarkable local charities* to support young people across Hertfordshire.

There will be themed days throughout the week to promote fun things to do in Herts and the incredible work the Helping Herts charities do in our communities. Themes will include: Helping Herts Charities, Celebrating Herts, Herts Business Community, What to Do in Herts and Hertfordshire’s Heroes.

How can you get involved?

• Nominate your Herts Hero! Do you know someone in your community who has made a difference? Nominations are open until 28th June, and the winner will be announced on 5th July. Nominate here: https://tally.so/r/3NA9yb
• Get your School Involved! Could you consider joining other schools across Herts and have a non-uniform day during the week to raise money for our 2024 charities?
• Hold your own fundraising event for the children and young people of Herts.
• Hold a coffee morning – could you organise a Hertfordshire charity coffee morning in your shop?

• Do you run a pub? Could you hold a pub quiz during the week?
• Spread the word! Share stories about your favourite businesses, days out and locations in Herts. Don‘t forget to tag us @helpingherts and use #helpinghertsweek
