Monthly Meeting, Ipswich Group, Suffolk Family History Society. Weds 5th October Simon Pulham (Ipswich Manager) of Bishop and Sons presents:

Church Organs, a History. Building, and restoring them.
The part that local Ipswich firm Bishop and Son (established 1795) plays in this fascinating business — with stories on the way.
His talk will include some entertaining demonstrations on some of the Technology (some going back into the mists of time) that are used to create these often magnificent instruments

7:30 p.m. Wednesday 5th October. Entry is £2 for Suffolk Family History Members, others are also welcomed, and pay £3.
No need to book – just turn up. Easy parking behind the Citadel, enter the building by a rear door.
