Abstract Mixed-Media Class with David Pasfield
Dunmow Art Group are delighted to offer a class on abstract mixed-media with David Pasfield or members of the on 1st June.
David is a successful local artist now working mainly in acrylic. He has been painting since leaving school but has had no formal art training. An experienced tutor and demonstrator, he paints in acrylics and watercolours in a bold and vibrant style. For these lessons, David will use an underpainting technique with acrylics to apply a first impression painting followed by a texture build-up using a palette knife with heavy body acrylics/gel in an impasto style, to complete the painting.
The classes will be held for two hours between 1pm and 3pm on Monday 1st June 2026 in the Foakes Hall in Great Dunmow. The cost is £1 for members of Dunmow Art Group and £10 for non-members.
Dunmow Art Group has a long history of supporting artists and art lovers in and around Dunmow and has a regular programme of weekly art meetings and monthly visiting artists.
