Featuring Mozart’s ‘Requiem’, Ipswich Choral Society and Music Director Robin Walker return to Snape on 6 April, with international conductor and ICS President Cem Mansur joining them as guest conductor for the performance.
The concert includes the world première of ‘The Affirming Flame’ by Grammy award winning tenor and composer Tom Randle. Inspired by ‘Ipswich Remembers’ when singing with ICS last March, Tom is thrilled that his new piece will be premièred at Snape. The five part oratorio for soprano and baritone soloists with choir features war poems and ‘The Parcel’ by Suffolk Poetry Society member Pam Job.
