Boom and Bust in Mediaeval Lavenham
Presented by Jane Gosling – former Manager of The Lavenham Guildhall for The National Trust.

Lavenham is the legacy of a thriving cloth industry, whose merchants made it one of the wealthiest towns in Tudor England. The talk explores their rise to fame, the houses they left behind, and the following crash.

This talk will be liberally peppered not just with interesting tales – but also some delightful pictures of this fabulous Town.
