The Newmarket February Flyer ’22
Welcome to The Newmarket February Flyer
In this month’s Newmarket Flyer: We hear from the Mayor of Newmarket, Philippa Winter. We also hear from the Newmarket Cinema project is due to take its next steps in early 2023.
News from the BID Newmarket February edition
As the temperatures slowly rise and we get a glimpse of spring around the corner, it’s time to look forward to a year full of exciting events in the town. Starting with the mobile cinema coming to The Severals Pavilion this month, organised by Newmarket Charitable Foundation.
Newmarket Charitable Foundation
This is a great opportunity for the town to show its support to this venture, with the hope that we can get a permanent cinema in the next few years.
Love Newmarket
It’s been great getting out to meet with our Love Newmarket members to find out their vision for the future of the town. The feeling on the ground is that 2023 will be tough for our retailers, so now more than ever we must shop
local, and support our national and independent retailers whenever we can. The positive news is that we are
looking forward to welcoming a few new independent businesses to the town in the coming months.
Christmas Reindeer Trail
Congratulations to Roman White who won our Christmas Reindeer Trail- I hope you enjoy spending your £100 Moons voucher.
Keep a look out for our Easter trail coming soon! Last but not least, it is with sadness that I announce that our loyal Town Ambassador, Ed, has decided to leave the role to pursue a new career.
Ed’s enthusiasm and commitment to the role over the last 7 years has been commendable, and I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing Ed the best of luck for the future.
