News from the Newmarket BID December update

Wow- what a fantastic atmosphere we had here in town a few weeks ago for the Christmas Light Switch On event. If you joined in the celebrations, I hope you had an enjoyable evening and had a chance to visit our shops that stayed open late, or one of our fantastic restaurants for post-fun feasting.

When visiting town this month, a reminder to please take care of your personal belongings and try to avoid having any phones or purses on display. If you do encounter any issues with thefts or anti-social behaviour, many of our shops are part of the ShopSafe scheme and can share the incident with other shops. Also, Russell, our Town Ambassador, is regularly walking around town and is on hand to assist- look out for the ‘Here to Help’ message on his jacket.

From all of us at Love Newmarket BID, we wish you a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
