Occasional Café Felixstowe
Dog walkers and those who still brave the chilly winds along the prom this winter will be delighted to know that Joy Reeve and her friend Karen Kenny have opened the doors to their special charity Occasional Café again this winter.
The Occasional Café Felixstowe run from Joy’s beach hut at the Manor end of the promenade, opened its doors throughout the winter last year on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and offered walkers home-made cakes and a welcome hot cup of tea or coffee in return for a donation to Cancer Research UK.
Between them the ladies raised a whopping £2344. This winter the doors of Joy’s beach hut will be open again on a Monday, Wednesday and a Friday welcoming you and your dog too. Joy said “We welcome dogs and their owners and anyone who is just enjoying a stroll along the prom. All we ask is for a small donation as we’d like to try to raise even more this winter for this vital charity.”
