The Trimley Carnival 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY – Saturday 13th July 2019

The theme which has been chosen this year to support the 50th Year of The Trimley Carnival is
‘50 Years through the Villages’. We hope this gives anyone who is taking part with a float or in the
parade great scope for many different ideas such as fashion, cars, clothes etc.

The carnival starts with the procession from Faulkeners Way at 1pm, travelling along the High Road,
past the Mariners Freehouse to finish at the Trimley Sports & Social Club around 2pm. As usual there
will be a planned afternoon of entertainment/attractions, displays, refreshments & charity stalls &
much more for all the family to enjoy.

There are various ways you can join in with the Carnival whether you would like to have a display,
a stall or pitch, advertise in our program or sponsor a shield along the High road. All proceeds will be
going to local charities once direct costs have been paid. If you have any suggestions for a well-deserved local Charity – please let us know.

We’re looking for raffle prizes for our prize draw. If you are interested in supporting the carnival one way or another, please email trimleycarnival@gmail.com

Thanks to Trimley St Martin School for painting some of the shields, Multimodal Logistics for supplying the trucks & trailers for the floats, Alston Homes for putting up the shields, Goslings Farm Shop for letting us park the trailers for decoration & all our shields sponsors and advertisers.
