Charity Christmas Tree Festival – Tuesday 3rd December to Saturday 7th December, Salvation Army, Cobbold Road IP11 7EL

A wonderful display of decorated and glittering Christmas trees from various local charities and organisations. Admission free. Donations welcome to the participating charities.

Sea Front Health Walk, Monday 9th December and Monday 23rd December, 10:45am, meet outside the Felixstowe Leisure Centre entrance, Undercliff Road West IP11 2AE

Start your week off with a refreshing walk along the Promenade at Felixstowe. Approximately 40-60 minutes (depending on the walkers and weather on the day). Everyone welcome. Admission free. Just turn up.

Felixstowe Country Market, Friday 13th December, 9:30am — 11:00am, Trades and Labour Club, High Road West IP11 9BB

Every Friday, enjoy the Country Market with a range of preserves, eggs, garden produce and crafts. All goods are produced to the highest standards and are home made.
Closed for two weeks over Christmas. Admission free.

Christmas at Landguard Fort – Saturday 14th December – Sunday 15th December, 10:00am — 4:00pm, Landguard Fort, View Point Road IP11 3TW

Find all the answers in our festive themed rooms… then walk through the wardrobe to visit Father Christmas in his secret grotto. Includes entrance to the Fort, the trail and a present for each child. Entrance by timed ticket. Please allow one to two hours.

Beach Bonkers – Help Clean up the Beach! Sunday 15th December, 10:30am to 12:30pm, meet at the Manor Terrace car park

Come and help clean up the beach and record what we find for the Marine Conservation Society. Everyone welcome. Wrap up warm. Admission free.

Felixstowe Ice Rink – Friday 20th December – Monday 23rd December, Great Eastern Square, Hamilton Road IP11 7DY

Grand opening by the Mayor of Felixstowe on Friday 20th December at 11.00am. There will also be rides for smaller children and stalls serving food and drinks. Admission free (including free skating). No need to book, just turn up.

St. Elizabeth Hospice – Christmas Day Dip, Wednesday 25th December 10:00am, seafront (near Manning’s Amusements, Sea Road) IP11 2DN

Everyone is welcome to come along, while those raising money will be dashing into the bracing waters, there will be patients in the hospice receiving the care they need.
Registration takes place from 8.30am to 9.45am opposite Manning’s Amusements on the seafront.
Entrants must be at least 10 years of age. Any dippers between the age of 10 and 17 must take part alongside a parent or guardian who will accompany them throughout the event.

Join OneLife Suffolk for a morning walk along the prom to the view point at Landguard.
