A tongue-in-cheek take on life in Eyam; Derbyshire, on staying well, avoiding disease 350 years ago.
This will convince you, even in our troubled times, we have a lot to be thankful for. In the mid 1600s odds were stacked against people surviving a pandemic It was a case of ‘que sera sera’ and getting on with life; coping with more common ailments like haemorrhoids, constipation and bladder stones. Brace yourself – clench your buttocks – see how 17th century doctors and patients fared in this entertaining talk….
