Shingle Street Folk Band

First formed in 2015, Shingle Street Folk Band are 4 local singers and musicians: Stephen Harding (guitar), Christine Pearce (percussion), Jane Burn (violin and accordion) and Peter Taylor (mandolin). All have strong choral backgrounds as well as a love of folk music which makes close harmony singing a feature of their repertoire. ‘Songs of these islands’ they will take you on a musical tour of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Plenty of banter and opportunities to join in guaranteed. Tickets are £8 (inc. drink) and need to be booked in advance from the library. Cash only please.
