Martlesham Heath Aviation Society Monthly Meeting, Friday 7th January 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
Eric Ratcliffe presents “R.A.F. Tibenham, (Norfolk) – at War and Peace… Past and Present”. Starting with the story of a U.S.A.A.F. Air-raid on Kassell on 27th Septembers 1944 – which went very wrong!…. and (after a refreshment break) Eric looks at the peacetime role of RAF Tibenham – now the home of the Norfolk and Suffolk Gliding Club.
