Martlesham Heath Avaition Society Monthly Meeting
On Friday 7th July at 7:30pm we welcome Clive Denney and his wife Linda. In this re-scheduled illustrated talk “A Tigers Tale” we will hear the story of how they rebuilt and renovated a classic De Havilland Tiger Moth, the first of which flew in the 1930’s and was widely used as a basic Trainer by The RAF and others. So successful were such Tiger’s that many still fly today.
It is apt that Clive and Linda have done this – for many years they, and their team at “Vintage Fabrics” have been rebuilding and repairing similar classic aircraft for other flyers. Now they get to have one of their own!
We will hear stories of other adventures that Clive has had, flying Spitfires etc at Flying Displays – and about other recent rebuilds in their workshops.

It takes place from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Just Arrive early and and park behind the largest Hall,
which is adjacent to the Felixstowe Road.
