Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

Welcome to my next Introduction to Mindfulness course
£60 for six 1.5 hour sessions
This is an accessible small group introduction to the liberating practice of Mindfulness Meditation. The course will include meditation practice, talks, discussion and support with home practice (see below).
Talks will introduce you to a variety of meditation practices and how to approach difficulties and challenges. The course will provide you with everything you need to establish your own mindfulness practice. And there will be plenty of time for you to bring your own experiences and questions about your practice.
Why do Mindfulness Meditation?
The benefits of meditation vary with individuals but there is an increasingly large body of research showing benefits in many areas of life.
In summary, studies show the effects of regular meditation practice range from:
reduced stress and depression
reduced impact of chronic illnesses
bolstering the immune system
improved concentration and memory
increase in compassion and empathy
increased sense of well-being
