FREE HERITAGE CRAFTS SUMMER OPEN DAY
Grandey’s Place Heritage & Craft Centre in Green Tye near Bishop’s Stortford is opening its workshops and studios to the general public on Sunday 25th June for an unrivalled chance to see some of the the UK’s finest craftspeople, artists and makers at work.
Grandey’s Place is a philanthropic venture that was founded in 2019 to help sustain the country’s heritage crafts by providing talented artists with affordable workspaces. Now it is home to a community of extraordinary craftspeople specialising in areas such as stained glass, letter carving, ceramics, mosaics, leatherwork, millinery, corsetry, traditional upholstery, horology and more.
The Open Day is free and the centre will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm. Visitors are not required to book individual tickets for this event. However, if you are coming by car it is essential that you reserve your FREE parking slot in advance. Please follow the links on the website: www.grandeysplace.co.uk.
