Bishop’s Stortford Choral Society Summer Concert

Bishop’s Stortford Choral Society (BSCS) will be hosting a relaxed evening of summer choral music at the newly refurbished Methodist Church in South Street on Saturday 25th June.  The programme, which starts at 7.30pm, includes short songs by composers such as Bruckner, Grieg and Parry as well as popular tunes from songwriters like Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin. The choir will also be performing a number of well-known English folk songs and John Rutter’s A Ukrainian Prayer, which was written as the terrible events in Ukraine began to unfold.
