FREE help for small and medium sized businesses in Felixstowe, Kesgrave and Woodbridge
If you are one of the many businesses that understand the importance of lowering the bottom line to remain efficient in a competitive market, then you may be interested in the East Coast Carbon Efficiency (ECCE) Project.
The project is a partnership between Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Councils and Groundwork Suffolk. It is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Between now and December 2014 businesses in Suffolk Coastal and rural Waveney can receive:
• A free, impartial on-site energy review
• Grant funding to invest in energy efficiency measures
• County-wide accreditation to validate their environmental achievements.
So far the ECCE Project has helped over 145 businesses to identify potential savings of more than £1Million through carbon efficiency measures. That’s an identified saving of around £7,000 per business on average.
The Carbon Trust says that “a 5% reduction in energy costs can be the equivalent of a 20% increase in sales.”
To confirm eligibility and to book an appointment with one of our Environment Business Advisers, simply call 01473 350370 or 01394 444634 or email firstname.lastname@example.org If eligible, an ECCE business adviser will arrange to visit you to review your current energy use.
