42nd Street at Rhodes – 11th and 16th January

Filmed live at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane London, the legendary Broadway musical is here on the big screen.

BSDFA Walk from Braughing – 12th January

This is a 5/6 mile walk that starts opposite the Axe and Compasses pub in Braughing at 10am.

The Mayor’s Isabel and Friends Dress Agency Fashion Show for charity at Rhodes – 17th January

The Mayor is hosting a Fashion Show alongside Isabel Hospice and the Friends Dress Agency. Doors open at 7pm, Catwalk Show 7.30pm. All proceeds to the Mayor’s Charity Fund and Isabel Hospice

Wassail family event at Rivers Orchard – 18th January

Bring torches.  Refreshments (including apple juice, mulled cider and cake) available for sale.

Join in singing Wassail songs – something for all the family. 6pm to 8.30pm.

This is a meeting in Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall at 7.30pm to plan the VE Day event in Sawbridgeworth.

An Evening with Sir Geoff Hurst at Rhodes – 23rd January

Join Sir Geoff Hurst, who scored a hat trick for England in the 1966 World Cup final, as he chats about his life as a top player and answers audience questions.

Grease at Herts and Essex School – 30th January to 1st February

Performing the songs from this Broadway production and classics from the film will be a cast of all ages and a live band.
