DESCRIPTION:Bothered About the Climate Crisis?\nWelcome to the ‘Climate Cafe’\n7pm to 8pm Online on Zoom\nWhat is a Climate Cafe?\nMany people feel deeply concerned about the climate and ecological crisis which is becoming ever more evident with increasing temperatures, floods and droughts around the world. But there are few places where feelings and anxieties about this can be freely shared. A climate cafe offers a welcoming space where people can explore and connect on this most urgent of issues.\nWhat is it not?\nWe will not be planning action or discussing what needs to be done about the crisis at this group – although these issues are of course very important. Participants may be inspired to take action as a result of attending, but this is not the primary aim of this particular group. The focus rather is on making room for exploration of feelings and thoughts, and support for participants as they do so.\nWhat will happen at the meeting?\nThere will be a short video to stimulate discussion and we will then spend some time in exploration and reflection together.\nThe group will be led by experienced facilitators.\nHow often do we meet?\nThe group is currently meeting once a month on the 2rd Thursdays of the month at 7pm.\nIf you have any questions at all contact Joe on joseph.mishan@phonecoop.coop\n
