DESCRIPTION:Monthly Meeting, Ipswich Group, Suffolk Family History Society.\n\nVisit organised by Ipswich Group, Suffolk Family History Society.\nThursday 20 June, Helmingham Hall Visit, by Car Share\nGuided tour of the Fabulous Gardens by the Head Gardener, and a wander around the Grounds + Helmingham Church Visit.\nArrive at Helmingham Hall, in Mid-Suffolk, Address: near Stowmarket IP14 6EF at 12:30. Garden Tour starts at 1:00pm.\nWe will use Car Sharing – so if you need a lift – or can help someone else please say! The whole visit cost is £16:00 per person.\nYou will have to pay for any refreshments you may purchase in the Weavers Restaurant.\nAfter the Tour around the Gardens- we will have a refreshment break – and then make our way to Helmingham Church – on the edge of the Estate =- via a pathway through the Estate.\nThe Church could be described as being a mini-Cathedral – with many elaborate memorials – many to the Tollemache Family – who have owned and lived in Helmingham Hall for MANY centuries.\nAll Family History Society members and others can demonstrate their Church Crawling expertise\nTo book: contact Howard King 01473 274300 NOW,\nPlaces are very limited\ne-mail: howard.king1@outlook.com\nNOTE: NO JUNE MEETING @ the Salvation Army Citadel, Ipswich – our normal venue for Meetings…\n\nArrive at Helmingham Hall at 12:30 p.m. Thursday 20th June.
