Following its time as Fighter station in World War 2 (with both British AND American fighters operating), Aircraft testing and development continued into the Jet Age – till its closure in 1963. It’s Sunday afternoon openings start on Sunday 7th April – and thereafter on Sunday afternoons until Sunday 17th October.
