DESCRIPTION:Monthly Meeting, Martlesham Heath Aviation Society Friday 5th April 2024 at 7:30 p.m.\nOur next talk on Friday 5th April 2024 at 7:30pm. is called “Flight over the Andes” when Terry Holloway presents stories of his love of flying, including his adventures whilst in the R.A.F.\nHe says: “While serving as a Royal Air Force Group Captain I led an expedition to Chile in 1995 and became the first Englishman to fly from Chile to Argentina, over the Andes by Mount Aconcagua .\nI have been flying for 62 years and have amassed 10,000 flying hours in 201 different aircraft types. My first solo was in a glider at Christchurch on the 21st March 1961”\nThe talk takes place at The Martlesham Heath Community Centre, Felixstowe Road, Martlesham IP12 4PB.
