Festive Fundraising in Orford – Sunday 5th December

THIS Sunday 5th December there’s more festive fundraising taking place in Orford. Its all part of the bespoke Christmas Fair planned for inside the Jolly Sailor Inn. The landlord Gordon and his wife Judy have worked hard all year raising money for the Help for Heroes charity and this is their final fundraiser of 2010. ‘We’re raising funds for the final time this year by hosting a Christmas Charity Fair, donations will be greatly received and there’s a special Christmas Help for Heroes Raffle. Whilst at the Jolly you can take a look around the array of festive treats on offer from 11am from some fantastic, local, Suffolk suppliers.’ Each of the exhibitors have kindly supplied a generous prize for the Help for Heroes raffle which will be drawn on the day.

Age UK Suffolk gets set for Christmas Spectacular

Age UK Suffolk has been chosen to be the beneficiary of the next production of a Christmas Spectacular on Saturday 4^th December, by the long established theatre group 4Seasons. The matinee and evening performance of the Christmas Spectacular will bring together many pro-am performers for a variety concert showpiece at the Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge.
