From their base in the Cairngorm Mountains near Aviemore, the cadets embarked on four days of hill walking which finished in a successful day scaling Ben Nevis the UK’s highest peak. Other days during the week were spent on different activities such as canoeing, white water rafting and mountain biking. Cdt Cpl Richard Spindley from Woodbridge said “it was really a great week with loads of activities”, “it was also nice to be with other cadets from other Squadrons”, “we worked very well together”. Organiser Flt Lt Nick Castle was pleased with the effort of the cadets from the three squadrons, “we took home some very tired cadets which is a good indicator of a very successful camp”.
