Sandy Sutherland has done it again!

Sandy Sutherland has done it again! This year’s Air Ambulance charity night, held on 31st March at Kesgrave Social club, was, for the fourth year running a total success. The night saw a packed club being entertained by local 60’s and 70’s band ‘’Rave On’’, some jazz sounds from ‘’Jazzshades’’ and of course, Sandy’s own band ‘’The Martells.
The annual event organized by Sandy is to raise funds for our East Anglia Air Team after they saved his life following a heart attack in 2007.
Many thanks to all involved this year including Phil Bennett, who provided the light and sound, Keith Rodwell for his involvement, Kesgrave Social club for allowing us to hold the event there and not least to all the local companies who provided our excellent raffle prizes, with their help we raised an amazing £3925 this year!

The Masque Players have been performing in one form or another for nearly 70 years. Based at Kesgrave Community Centre and with an active membership in excess of 30, The Masque players produce two shows a year in Spring and Autumn and have built a well-deserved reputation within Suffolk due to a constant output of quality plays.

Conservatives hold Kesgrave seats

Despite the cold weather, two by-elections were held today (Thursday) with the Conservative candidates of Geoff Lynch and Christopher Hudson holding on respectively to the vacant seats on Suffolk Coastal District Council and Suffolk County Council previously held by John Klaschka who died last October.
