Haverhill Community Sports Association will be handed the keys to New Croft, Haverhill’s brand new £2m football ground and new home to Haverhill Rover FC in a short ceremony at 6pm on Monday 2 August. Cllr Lynsey Alexander, Culture and Sport Cabinet member for St Edmundsbury Borough Council, which headed the project, will pass over ownership to Tom Harrison, Chairman of Haverhill Community Sports Association, who will operate the facility.
More Adopters Needed Now

Suffolk County Council’s Adoption Agency is launching a recruitment campaign this month to raise awareness about adoption in Suffolk and to highlight the urgent need for more people to come forward and adopt a Suffolk child.
In Suffolk today, there are currently 23 children waiting to be adopted, this includes sibling groups, babies and children with additional needs. Some of these children may have been waiting a long time to find a family of their own. Suffolk’s Adoption Agency is hoping this campaign will give them some much needed help in finding a family.
