Prime Minister visits Suffolk
February 15, 2010 by flyeronline
Prime Minister Gordon Brown is visiting Suffolk today, kicking off a round of engagements while Parliament is on its half-term break.
He arrived at the army air base at Wattisham near Needham Market to meet officers and men who are working on the latest helicopters which may see service in Afghanistan.
With then General Election in minds, Mr Brown was later visiting a Sure Start children’s centre in Ipswich at which he is likely to emphasise Labour’s commitment to helping children coming from difficult social backgrounds.
