STOWMARKET FESTIVAL LAUNCHING IN MAY

A fantasitc new festival is launching in Stowmarket at the end of May. Co-ordinated by Stowmarket Town Council, Stowmarket Festival will feature various events and activities around Stowmarket between Thursday 27th May and Sunday 6th June. The festival will end with the StowFest Music Day at the Recreation Ground on the 6th June and there will also be a new music event – StowFest: The Acoustic Sessions – taking place on Saturday 5th June at Chilton Fields. Other events scheduled to take place include a comedy night at the Regal, a performance by the London Sinfonietta at the Museum of East Anglian Life, a celebration of Parkour, a performance by Oskar Foxtrot, an arts exhibition and much more.
