Suffolk Coastal’s Cabinet will look again at its decision to attract proposals for the future use of Felixstowe’s Spa Theatre from local groups or leisure and entertainment companies from across the country.

Tenants and leaseholders in Babergh and Mid Suffolk are being encouraged to stand for election to become part of a new Joint Housing Board, which will make decisions about issues affecting all tenants across the two districts.

Markwell Pavillion reopens after £25,000 refit
The popular Community Centre, located in the Castle Gardens, has re-opened after a £25,000 refit. The refurbishment has seen new kitchens fitted, new flooring throughout, improved lighting, an up to date fire alarm system, ne blinds and a complete re-paint inside and out. The re-furbishment has given the centre a fresher more up to date look and it is now the ideal venue for community groups of all types as well as family celebrations and, with its proximity to the park and open spaces, childrens parties.
